SUSAN MERSEREAU’s short stories have appeared in Meridian, The Massachu­setts Review, december, PRISM inter­national, Riddle Fence, filling Station and other journals. An earlier story, ‘The Valley,’ which also features Ötzi the Iceman, won the Short Grain fic­tion contest. She is currently at work on a novel.
